The Garage

The garage needs to be well ventilated, and ideally house eco-friendly vehicles such as bicycles and energy efficient cars. The garage is, not surprisingly, built around the car. Among its roles is to keep the car warm during the winter, which substantially increases its durability and saves fuel. To have a garage and not use it for the car is both expensive for you and  the environment.

Avoid spilling hazardous chemicals down the drain, where they pollute the soil and eventually the ocean. Even a small amount of oil or solvents can potentially become a significant pollutant.

A house‘s intakes are often located in the garage and need to be accessible. With good organization and tidiness, the garage can be a comfortable place of work, even if it’s quite small.
