Fuel - guidelines
Fuel consumption is measured in various units of measurements which can lead to problems and misunderstanding when comparing different products. The relevant units of measurement are liters, kW and kW per hour.
Examples:
- The fuel consumption of cars is measured in liters per 100 km
- The fuel consumption of machines is measured in kW per hour or simply kW
- The fuel consumption of lawn mowers is measured in kW
- The fuel consumption of cargo transportations is often measured in liters per ton km
