The story behind Freecitytravel.com

The founder, Inga Jessen, lost her job during the economic crisis in Iceland. Because of her unemployment, she needed to spend less money. She found out that there are so many things you can do without spending any money. She explored her hometown, Reykjavík, and decided to share her experience with others by creating Freecitytravel.com.

The goal of Freecitytravel.com is for travelers to find everything that is for free in cities all over the world. At first, the site will list free things to do in Reykjavík. Later, more cities will follow, so keep posted.
