Clothing
You can change or reuse clothing, give it to friends or advertise it for sale or for free. Clothing can also be brought to recycle centers and placed in Red Cross containers from where they are given away or sold. All fabrics, such as adult and children´s clothing, curtains, carpets and towels go into containers labelled with the sign, The Red Cross of Iceland. Clothes and fabrics should be delivered in closed plastic bags. They are used in the domestic and international relief work of The Red Cross.
