Seeds sprout in soil between 5-7°C. Some gardeners dig the fertilizer in during fall and cover the prepared beds with black plastic film to hasten the process. If the soil is turned in the spring, missed potatoes, good for eating may be found from last year. Also small dandelions may be there and panfried, both leaves and roots. Delicate plants are pre-cultivated indoors but hardier plants like carrots, spring salad, radishes, dill and spinach can be sown in April or May outside preferably under acrylic cover.
